ClipWrap 2.6.9 overloading my CPU

ClipWrap 2.6.9
OSX 10.9.5
2.3 GHz Intel Core i7
16GB RAM

ClipWrap is annihilating my CPU right now. Converting two 14 minute files from SD card is using over 400% CPU in Activity Monitor.

I've noticed with this update that if I am running any other programs other than a web browser and try to use them, my Mac will just shut off!

I've used ClipWrap for a long time. This never used to be a problem.

Hmm, we haven't changed anything regarding CPU utilization in years, and 2.6.9 isn't a new release. It sounds like your Mac may be having problems with heat - you might have a clogged fan or something similar. Using 400% CPU is right for that mac - your mac has four cpus, each running at 100%.

Thanks Colin. I'll check my fan. Haven't had any issues with FCPX or Logic, seems I only struggle with ClipWrap.

I love the program. Thanks for your work on it.
